About Us

Key worker policy

Each child is assigned a ‘key person’ to act as the bridge between their home and the nursery. They will provide additional support and become attuned to each child’s needs. Each child’s progress will be recorded in their ‘Learning Journey Book’ which is available to view at any time.

Parents as partners

We endeavour to build strong positive relationships with all of our parents and carers. Information regarding each child’s care, learning and development is shared daily by their key worker and through daily diaries. Parents are encouraged to view their child’s ‘Learning Journey Book’ at any time and parent’s evenings are held on a regular basis. Parents views are taken into account when planning for the future. Our ‘suggestion box’ and questionnaires provide a forum for parents to share concerns and suggestions.

Equal opportunities

We believe in an inclusive setting by valuing and respecting each other, which includes children, parents and staff. Our commitment to equality will be made evident on a day to day basis through diverse activities and exploring the world around us. We provide support for children with special educational and physical needs, by nurturing each child and encouraging them to reach their full potential and promote individuality.

All nursery policy documents and our latest Ofsted inspection reports are available to view at any time.
